For Families Free of Violence (Concord) http://www.standffov.org/ 24 hr toll free crisis line: 1-888-215-5555 (STAND in PRIDE partnership with Rainbow Community Center for LGBT individuals). Provide support and advocacy for victims of domestic abuse if called in by police or hospitals. 24-bed at the Rollie Mullen Center for 8 weeks of emergency shelter for women and their children up to age 18 (daily meetings, case management, referrals, legal advocacy, vocational services, job readiness trainings, workshops on budgeting and positive parenting - cannot house pets, referrals to find safety for pet).  http://www.standffov.org/emergency-help Peer counseling (ex. Therapeutic Behavioral Services for children, clinical treatment for abusers, parenting and relationship education before release from detention centers), Contra Costa County support groups. Transitional Housing for women and children: on-site peer counseling, case management, support groups, children's programs, recreational activities, workshops (finances, parenting, life skills), for up to 2 years. Vocational Services: facilitate reentry into workforce, skill-building trainings/classes. Domestic Violence Liaisons when survivors work with legal/health/human services agencies: Located in EHSD offices in East, West, and Central Contra Costa Counties; the Richmond Police Department; Pittsburg Health Clinic; Rainbow Community Center; and the Monument Corridor. Legal Advocacy (guide through system, restraining orders, court accompaniment). Individual and Group Counseling in English or Spanish. Domestic Violence Treatment Program: 52-week class for abusers. Child Assessment and Treatment Services (ex. Play therapy, stable environment). Clinical Parenting: parents who are in a drug treatment program or whose children were referred by doctor/school to STAND!’s mentor program.
